I find it interesting that you figure the Red Wings' best chance at scoring is when Huskins is on the ice. Now, looking at my last name, you know I have a bias, but please consider Kent's /-. It seems to me that he's holding things together quite well on the back end. I think the Wings know that he's not a big offensive threat, but that's not really why he's here, is it? I know it's hard for fans to appreciate, but a BIG part of being a defenseman is, well, DEFENSE. It's not flashy. It's barely noticeable to the modern hockey fan with an attention span of 0.5 micro-seconds and a lust to see goals. But I ask you to consider it. He's not a hero, but he and DiPenta are definitely unsung.

I think I am pretty powerful in my own world, but to suggest that my "cockiness" will some how have some karmic effect on this series is very...other wordly. And, noted for the little 'c' on Nick.

Hey-

Nice preview, but for a lesson on karma visit Sharks blog "Shaved Ice" and read his series previews. Cockiness will get you nowhere.

Also, please alert all Ducks bloggers to this, because a lot of them have a problem with it. There IS a "c" in Nicklas Lidstrom's first name. I know it doesn't look particularly Swedish, but that's just the way it is. There's a "C" on the jersey and a "c" in the name.

Go Wings.
