First off, every Detroit fan needs to be quiet. Your team blew it every time they had a powerplay, so I don’t want to hear a damn thing about how the Ducks got lucky. Everyone knows the Red Wings out played the Ducks, but you know what, the scoreboard says 2-1 Ducks. Brett Hull and Ray Ferraro can eat a big you know what, so lopsided in everything they say, at least Bill Clement stays neutral. Only one reason why the Ducks won, J.S. Giguere, and…? A whole lot of couch coaching on NBC, I guess even they hate Anaheim.
I don’t really have anything else to say, the Ducks absolutely sucked and rode the excellent goaltending. I really hope that they come out in game six and actually give a shit, you know, like they are about to go to the finals? Simply amazing, Detroit had so many chances, I honestly can’t believe it and I am in awe. I will come back later with something else, I gotta get ready for my banquet.

You guys WON!! What the fuck are you whining about??
I hope your banquest puts you in a better mood!
Every game has been won by the team that didn’t deserve to win, even Bill “Mr. Neutral” Clement would agree with that. In the final analysis thus far the Ducks are the better team because they have won more games. If you want to live in your fantasy world believing they were not “lucky” then go ahead. IF they win the series no one will remember (or care) that Detroit (again, THUS FAR) is the better team. The results are what matter, and Detroit lost.
Man, I have heard bitching about officiating but bitching about the intermission talking heads? Sheeesh.
Hmm, I thought the whole post was me saying they were lucky and that I was pissed they played like shit again? Maybe I read it wrong…again. The most bitching the whole game was from the fans though, man they wanted it all, they wouldn’t shut up over the smallest things. I am happy the Ducks won, if you were on my couch watching with me you would know, my kitten even yelled at me because it was so sudden and he was sleeping.
There goes Dan….pissing off kittens….
Since you won’t read this till after the banquet, I have to say, it’s impossible to be happy for your team when they play this way…don’t get me wrong I’m ecstatic that they won, but dear god they did not deserve this one. Unfortunately Dan, the Red Wing lovers on NBC were right, they were out played in every category but one, the final score…I think the Red Wings player who threw his stick when the tying goal was scored symbolized the feeling of the entire Joe Louis Arena…that they let this one get away…this game was game 1 in reverse…
But, a 3-2 lead coming back to Anaheim is everything I coulda hoped for…just wished they played better to get there…
I honestly can’t believe it and I am in awe.
You and me both, brother.
