It is almost crunch time and I figure I will join the internet again. I will try to be a little more objectable this year and almost root against the Ducks, but not really. I am too lazy to port all my posts over to Joomla!, but that thing is pretty much set up, if only someone would make a Worpdress to Joomla transfer mechanism.
I am happy to see Pronger getting suspended for 8 games, maybe even a game or two in to the first round of the playoffs would have been a better punishment. He has always been allowed to be a dick, knowing only one game would be his punishment. Why doesn’t Colin Campbell just tell him he face the corner and be quiet, you know, throw the book at him. But I am excited for the playoffs, because if the Ducks some how pull out this miracle run, I would be shocked. San Jose has a game in hand and easier opponents, so I doubt they get the division this year. Lets shoot for the #4 seed and beat Dallas, then an upset of the 2 or 3 seed so we can face Detroit in the WCF. Touch and go I say.
Gonna watch tonights game tomorrow with a few friends, so I will abstain from all hockey news until then.
so from October to March, basically the whole season in between posts…and all you can do is pick on poor Pronger and his suspension? What about your boy Selanne or Niedermayer coming back…those are valid topics to bring up…how bout how good both have been SINCE coming back…geesh…someone’s slacking off I tell ya!
Not posting as much as last year when your team beat my beloved redwings. Good series by you guys as that still sticks in our memory it detroit. I am looking forward to a ducks vs wings matchup again but that is starting to look like it is not going to happen. Comon duckies let get it going! Even I have to admit that I did not think that Dallas was this good. Just wish I could watch the damn games if they werent on so late. Well I guess one positive is that whoever comes out of that series is going to be pretty tired going into the next series os it should make for some compelling hockey. Wings vs Ducks????? (On Life Support now…….)
Indeed. I stopped watching game 2 after the third period started. Pretty hard to score these days and the teams real weapon is failing. 9 goals in 2 games? I wouldn’t count them out at all, they are very able to walk out of Dallas tied, but I am not sure it happens. I hope the Wings and Ducks square off again too though, Nashville doesn’t look to be playing very nice either.
