Behind The Scenes With The Ducks

When you are dealing with a seven game series and you are down two games to one, game four is always a turning point. For the Anaheim Ducks, while game four is not technically a must win situation, it is a game that could easily change the complexion of their first round series against the Nashville Predators. Following a 4-3 loss to the Pred’s in a hard fought third game, the Ducks are looking to take back home ice advantage Wednesday night and go back to Anaheim with a two- two series tie. And while it may be a tall order on Nashville’s tough home ice, there are many fan’s out there who think that the Ducks should have taken game three.

So what do the Ducks have to do to even the series? First of all they need to get a great game from Ray Emery. While Emery has been decent since taking over goaltending duties from Dan Ellis in the third period of game one, he hasn’t exactly had the look of a goaltender who is going to take the Ducks deep into the playoffs. If he can keep the Predators under four goals, then the Ducks have a good chance of going back to Anaheim two games to two.
