Inside The Anaheim Ducks Locker Room

You can say a lot of things about Game 3 of the Western Conference quarterfinals between the Anaheim Ducks and the Nashville Predators, one thing that you can’t say, though, is that it was boring. While the Predator’s controlled the game for the first 38 minutes, two Temmu Salenne goals in the final two minutes of the 2nd period made tied the game up for the Ducks. And while the Predators were able to prevail with a 4-3 victory after a hard fought 3rd period, this wasn’t a killer lose for the Ducks, even though they find themselves down 2-1 in the Best of Seven series.

You could expect the Predators to come out and play a heck of a game in front of their home crowd in game three, but the Ducks needs to come back and take game 4 on Wednesday in order to take back home ice advantage for the rest of the series. While most expect the series to go six or seven games, going down 3-1 heading back to Anaheim would not be a great thing for the Ducks. Emery needs to have a big game in Game 4 for the Ducks to get back to their winning ways. The hits keep comin’: NHL Playoffs 2011: Anaheim Ducks Take on Nashville Predators Without Bobby Ryan
